Yamaha Golf-Car Company Announces Exclusive Distribution Rights for Pilotcar® Electric LSVs (Low Speed Vehicles)

Yamaha Golf-Car Company (YGC) today announced that is has reached an agreement with Pilotcar® Otomotiv San. Ve Tic. to become the exclusive distributor for Pilotcar® branded low speed vehicles (LSV) in North America.

Founded in 2011 and based in Turkey, Pilotcar® Otomotiv is an established manufacturer of high quality, street legal, low speed vehicles. As market demand increased for street legal, low speed transportation vehicles, Pilotcar® introduced their brand in the United States in 2018.


In early 2021, Yamaha Golf-Car Company evaluated viable solutions for the growing market that would meet LSV-specific demand, and the features and quality of Pilotcar® models were a perfect fit. “With Yamaha Golf-Car Company’s network of retail dealers that offer industry-leading sales, parts and service support, Yamaha and Pilotcar® are better able to serve LSV-specific retail consumer and dealer partner needs by working together,” said Stephen Donnell, President of Yamaha Golf-Car Company. “Yamaha Golf-Car Company and Pilotcar® are setting a new standard for personal transportation by providing high-quality, street-legal low-speed vehicles that prioritize safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction,” added Sukru OZKILIC, Co-Founder/General Manager Pilotcar® Otomotiv.

Beginning Q1 2025, Yamaha Golf-Car Company will conduct wholesale operations for Pilotcar® branded, LSVs for model year 2025. The PC2 will be available in a 2+2 seating configuration with lifted suspension in black, white, and blue. The PC4 will be available in a 4+2 seating configuration in white and a 4+2 with lifted suspension in black and blue. Both PC2 and PC4 meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for street legal low speed vehicles and provide consumer value with standard infotainment systems, wireless cell phone charging and high-capacity lithium batteries.

Yamaha Golf-Car Company, a consolidated subsidiary of the Yamaha Motor Corporation, is based in Kennesaw, Georgia. 2025 marks Yamaha Golf-Car’s 50th anniversary of innovation in the golf and personal transportation industry, while YGC is celebrating its 46th anniversary within YMUS in 2025.
