Yamaha Golf-Car Company Proudly Announces New Lithium-Ion UMAX® utility model, unique new partnership with Pilotcar® LSV (Low Speed Vehicle), and the introduction of JoyrideTM software all in conjunction with 2025 PGA Show®

The 2025 Annual PGA Show® kicks off today in Orlando, Florida and Yamaha Golf-Car Company is very excited to announce three key new introductions at this year’s show. First, YGC is proud to introduce the next evolution in golf utility with the UMAX Li. Combining Yamaha’s signature power and ruggedness with cutting-edge lithium technology, UMAX Li is the stress-free choice for your golf utility needs. Built to last with a maintenance-free battery, it offers more efficient charging and a longer driving range to keep you going all day. With easy handling and increased maximum speeds, UMAX Li delivers unmatched performance while giving you more time to focus on what matters.

Secondly, YGC has officially announced a strategic and unique agreement with Pilotcar® Otomotiv to become the exclusive distributor for Pilotcar-branded low speed vehicles (LSVs) in North America.

Founded in 2011 and based in Turkey, Pilotcar® Otomotiv is an established manufacturer of high quality, street legal, low speed vehicles. As market demand increased for street legal, low speed transportation vehicles, Pilotcar® introduced their brand in the United States in 2018. Beginning Q1 2025, Yamaha Golf-Car Company will conduct exclusive wholesale operations for Pilotcar®-branded LSVs and offer two 2025 Pilotcar® models in various configurations. The PC2 will be available in a 2+2 seating configuration with lifted suspension in black, white, and blue. The PC4 will be available in a 4+2 seating configuration in white and a 4+2 with lifted suspension in black and blue. “With Yamaha Golf-Car Company’s network of retail dealers that offer industry-leading sales, parts, and service support, Yamaha and Pilotcar® are better able to serve LSV-specific retail consumer and dealer partner needs by working together,” said Stephen Donnell, President of Yamaha Golf-Car Company.

Finally, YGC is pleased to announce its new association with “JoyrideTM,” a pioneering platform in the shared mobility sector, who powers connected electric vehicle deployments in more than 250 global markets– from e-scooters and e-bikes to minicars and golf cars. The JoyrideTM platform simplifies fleet management and IoT connectivity for businesses through a suite of solutions that includes a branded user application, backend management tracking software, and automated operational tools.
